About Us

ClearPoint Credit Counseling Solutions (CCCS) is a trade name of ClearPoint Financial Solutions, Inc.

ClearPoint Financial Solutions, established in 1972, is an amalgamation of local credit counseling organizations from across the country that have come together through a series of mergers over the past 40 years.  Today, ClearPoint is one of the largest, most-respected credit counseling agencies in the nation.

ClearPoint is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote consumer health through financial education.

Community education and outreach

We are, first and foremost, an educational organization. Our credit counselors help consumers identify and resolve their financial concerns through budgeting, an understanding of credit, learning how to set financial goals, prioritizing debt repayments and making the most effective financial choices.

We offer workshops and have strategic partnerships with area banks, credit unions and businesses to help assure that consumers’ personal finance education needs are met.

Our CEO, Christopher J. Honenberger, sets the organization’s vision and strategy and works closely with board members and agency officers to ensure that ClearPoint operates with the utmost integrity and the highest business standards.
