Insure that new DMP clients are activated properly and in a timely manner. Insures that these clients have proposals generated, reviewed and accepted (where applicable) by the creditors.
Essential Job Functions
Insure that new DMP clients are activated properly, including verification of:
Open all incoming daily mail
Inform FS for any portions of the packet are incomplete for the activation
Verify All creditors are included per the E-port CBR
Help desk for Financial specialist and Customer Service Reps as the types of debt eligible for a DMP
Verify surplus/deficit & that all budget guidelines are met
Enter all demographic information, including housing status
Enter other debt
Enter proposal contact information and dates
Money order to Payment Processing
Provide copy of privacy notice for Military Star A/C's to Natalie
Enter ACH information for 1st Net electronic file.
Send the electronic file to 1st NET each day.
Daily Monitor and note each client's account for all ACH changes by clients in report received from 1st Net
Verify Correct State forms are submitted
Verify Signed Privacy notice or verbal GLB delivery
Verify all information has been obtained from the client for all special handling creditors and creditor DMP guidelines are met.
Monitor Daily activation reports to insure accounts are activated within the proper timeframe.
Informing Financial Specialists and Managers of all deadlines for ACH as well as client disbursement
Insure proposal generation and follow-up to insure and code acceptance within 30 days.
Address issues around proposals not being accepted
Scan all documents in client files
Cross Training with the Creditor Relations Dept. to assist on the CR call group.
Possesses an overall awareness and understanding of creditor mergers and acquisitions, and how to apply this knowledge to coding creditors and answering staff questions
Other duties as assigned

Must be detail oriented with a solid understanding of company policies and operational procedures.
Must have excellent communication and management skills
Receptive to change and implementation of new processes
Must be able to work under pressure and deadlines, as the monthly work is cyclical
