To be NFCC approved, an agency must:

Ensure low-cost, high-quality confidential services
Employ counselors who undergo rigorous certification exams
Meet high standards for agency accreditation and consumer credit counseling

Approved by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) as of July, 2008 after completing a rigorous qualification process. This signifies that our counselors provide expert advice for consumers by upholding HUD's high standards for ethics, management and accountability. ClearPoint provides advice in the areas of buying versus renting, foreclosure, and general mortgage-related questions. Our services are available via phone or in person at no cost to consumers.

Accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA), an independent, not-for-profit, child- and family-service accrediting organization.
